The wisdom of the Lord
Is more than I can see
If on wings I fly, to the furthest place
Even there my Father leads.

Your sovereign hand on me
When wakeful or at rest
You hem me in, before, behind
To where You know is best.

How Precious are Your thoughts, O God
How boundless, vast, Your Hand
Who placed the stars, Who holds the world
At limitless command
Who created all things by His power
Sustains it by His will
Who saved a wretched one like me
And who has loved me, still.

Why should I fear the darkness
When Your eyes see night as day
You've lead me & my grievous heart
In everlasting ways.
